Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year. I love everything about it, but I especially love putting up the Christmas tree and keeping those little family traditions going. Another thing I love about this time of year is watching Christmas movies. [Read more…] about Favourite Christmas Movies

Did Disabled Adele Fans Stand A Chance
Friday 4th December was the day myself and most of the UK were waiting for. The day tickets for Adele’s tour went on sale.
I think we all expected it to go a little crazy as everyone rushed to get tickets, but I don’t think we quite anticipated what we were in store for that day. [Read more…] about Did Disabled Adele Fans Stand A Chance

Things That Made Me Smile This Week #1
I thought it would be nice to reflect on some of the things that made me smile this week. I think we are all guilty of dwelling on or focussing too much on the bad stuff that happens day-to-day. So I decided that I’m going to take a few minutes every day to appreciate the good things. Here are some of the things that made me smile this week. Simply Books | Part 1
One of my goals for 2015 was to read more. I know for a lot of people that might sound easy peasy because they get through two or three books a week, but I knew that I wouldn’t be able to manage one book a week let alone two or three. So I decided to set myself a goal of reading one book each month as it seemed more realistic and do-able. I’m happy to say that I’m actually sticking to it (apart from a slight blip I had with my second book – but I’ll talk about that in a bit). [Read more…] about Simply Books | Part 1
NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads Review
I’ve had my eye on the NIP+FAB skincare range for a while now, but I was a little apprehensive about buying it in case it didn’t agree with my sensitive skin. My skin has become more sensitive in the last year or so for some unknown reason to me and a lot of products I’ve tried in that time seem to have irritated it, so trying anything new is a bit of a gamble. Recently my attention was brought back to NIP+FAB when I found out Kylie Jenner was the new ambassador for the brand (I have to admit I do have a bit of a girl crush on her).
