If I could only have one makeup item, mascara would win hands down. It is the last product I put on to complete my makeup look. I also love to try new mascaras but tend to stick to my old, faithful favourites over and over again. However, I was excited to try the Benefit Roller Lash mascara that was free in an issue of ELLE Magazine. So was it all worth it?!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Mini Review

I have tried only a few products from Benefit. Some I have liked, and some not so much. I have always loved their packaging, but their price is a bit high for me. However, I didn’t mind spending £4 to buy the magazine so I could try out their mascara.

Benefit Roller Lash mascara was designed to curl the eyelashes while making your eyes look bigger and more awake. This is created with the Hook ‘n’ Roll brush, as the tiny hooks catch, lift, and curl the lashes. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

A consumer panel of 31 women after 4 weeks said:

  • 97% said it visibly lifts lashes
  • 87% said it gives long-lasting curl
  • 94% said eyes look more wide open

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review

Although I haven’t been using the Benefit Roller Lash mascara for 4 weeks, I have been using it every day since I got it and agree that it lifts, gives a long-lasting curl, and makes my eyes look wide open.

It doesn’t give my lashes as much volume as I would normally go for, but it does lengthen them nicely, which I love. I might try using it with a volumising mascara and see what results it gives.

I think that it would be great for people who love to curl their eyelashes; the Roller Lash mascara means no more time spent using your eyelash curler and no more eyelashes being tugged out and damaged.

I do love this mascara, but I don’t think I would purchase the full-size mascara at £25.50, especially when I’ve tried other mascaras just as good and a lot cheaper.

Have you tried Benefit Roller Lash Mascara? Has it become one of your favourites?

Don’t miss a thing!
