I’ve never been so determined to hunt down an issue of a magazine in my entire life, but that all changed when I heard what the free gift was in the March issue of ELLE Magazine. They were giving away the new Benefit Roller Lash Mascara and I had to get my hands on it. I tried about 10 different shops, newsagents and supermarkets until I finally managed to find a copy. So was it all worth it?!
I have only ever tried a few products from Benefit, some I have liked and some not so much. I’ve always loved their packaging though but hated their price, so I didn’t mind spending £4 buying the magazine so I could try out the mascara.
Benefit Roller Lash mascara was designed to curl your eyelashes while making your eyes look bigger and more awake. This is created with The Hook ‘n’ Roll brush as the tiny hooks catch, lift and curl the lashes. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
Consumer panel of 31 women after 4 weeks said:
-97% said it visibly lifts lashes
-87% said it gives long-lasting curl
-94% said eyes look more wide open
Although I haven’t been using the Roller Lash mascara for 4 weeks, I have been using it every day since I got it and agree that it lifts, gives long-lasting curl and makes my eyes look more wide open. It doesn’t give my lashes as much volume as I would normally go for, but it does lengthen them nicely which I love. I might try using it with a volumising mascara and see what results it gives. I think that it would be great for people who love to curl their eyelashes – the Roller Lash mascara means no more time spent using your eyelash curler and no more eyelashes being tugged out and damaged. I do love this mascara but I don’t think I would purchase the full-size mascara at £19.50, especially when I’ve tried other mascaras just as good and a lot cheaper.
Have you tried this mascara? Has it become one of your favourites?
I hardly ever wear makeup. I do love the material pattern on that image though 🙂
I thought you might like the pattern 🙂
